The publication contract
An app page gains a public sources-and-history record and enters Today, the Atlas, Yearbook, sitemap, and search index only when it has an official destination, a completed human review date, an authored editorial take, and at least three identified non-low-confidence source links.
Source hierarchy
OpenThis prefers first-party product pages, pricing pages, documentation, changelogs, app-store records, and verifiable repositories. Missing prices are recorded as not listed, never guessed.
Selection and public records
Each app page documents one product and its sources. The Atlas aggregates the archive without ranking named products. The Yearbook gives every eligible app the same amount of space in alphabetical order.
Claims, corrections, and history
Public attribution, verified ownership, private contact identity, and billing identity stay separate. Makers can request factual corrections and contribute sourced release or icon history for free. One verified app never verifies another.
Money and research
Payment never buys selection, favorable wording, Atlas or Yearbook inclusion, ranking, or placement. Downloadable cards always point back to a public evidence record.
